A B&W panorama silhouetted Spring wildlife shot, you could enter a lot
of PUGS with this shot. Nice.

Yesterday was a miserable day, the weather was just perfect, I took the
day off, and went to Motor Vehicles, and spent 5 hours waiting, 20
minutes to get a number and the rest for a clerk to take care of a 5
minute transaction... Well I didn't spend all that time there, I did
take a hour in the middle to go get lunch, but if I missed my number I'd
have to start all over again...

Afterward I stopped at the Hammonasset State Park, to try to catch some
Harbor Seals, there were rumors of them but no seals, (they spend a
couple of weeks, more or less, here then disappear to wherever they
spend the summer, and repeat in the fall going to their winter quarters).

So I made due with other wild life. The previous Redwing Blackbird shot
and Cormorant on the rock were taken there, as was this, Blue Heron,
back lit and almost silhouetted. I thought of rendering it as black and
white, but really what would be the point.

I'm processing a few of the better shots and then winnowing them down to
what I consider the best, either due to content, composition, or what I
laughingly call technical quality. So maybe coming soon a GESO of my
usual tripe.

Equipment: Pentax K-5II w/smc Pentax A*300mm f4.0 w/smc F 1.7x AF
adapter.

As usual comments are welcome but may be totally ignored.
