I'd expect to see any such lens announced as a possible 'kit lens'
with the new FF body.

I'm with Paul, though - the newly announced item that interests me
the most is the 150-450 zoom.  I've got an 80-200/f2.8 that I haven't
used since I got the 60-250/f4, so the 70-200 doesn't really tempt me.
And while the new body will provide a crop mode for use with DA lenses,
I assume that just means you'd be stuck with using a smaller part of
the image area in an optical viewfinder.  The rear screen live view
could magnify the cropped image, but I don't see how to do that if
you've using the main viewfinder unless there is another component
that the camera can switch into the optical path.

The 150-450, however, has almost double the reach of the 60-250, and
looks to be a lot more convenient to carry around than the 250-600.

Mind you, if they offered a new 2x TC that worked with the 70-200 I
might change my mind ...
