Hadn't noticed, but it does look as though it's jaw is set and is looking back 
at me in contempt.
Maybe it's just that I'm too familiar with such a "look." :-(

I was surprised that this Snow Goose "fit" into an f/8 AV setting 
considering how close it was.
It came up from a small distance below me as I drove along a local wildlife 
area levee like road.
Can't guess how close it was, but close. I gave it a lucky three frame burst 
out the passenger window.
This, of course, is a fairly heavy crop.
