I think the gritty look works for the photo and contrasts it to the
color version. I've always thought the subject should slide some to the
left or slightly lower. This version has a more somber mood. Always fun
looking at your photos the terrain is so much different than my locale.

I converted this to B&W to add to the color which I intend to keep.
I'd appreciate your comments on this version. Not as a comparison to the color,
but
as a B&W. I intentionally gave a gritty look to the grass and found I like it.
I like that it, also, emphasizes the array of various size rocks strewn about.
