yep, I would agree auto tone tends to push the exposure.  I doubt it’s you, 
Charles, and I have never heard about a fine-tune for auto tone.  Sometimes 
when I hit auto tone, my response is, “yuck”.  I just reset then make my custom 
adjustments.
