Yes, oh yes! I am finally elegible for ASMP membership as more than 1/2 my
income last year was from photography. I sold one print for $20.

That is crap! And its only purpose is to keep the unwashed out. Anybody who
does photography with the intention of being paid for it is a pro. Anyone
who thinks that you have to do more than that has a vested interest in
keeping the competion out. That is the purpose of all professional
associations. And, unfortunately, it has become the purpose of most trade
unions.
