While driving down the Blue Ridge Parkway this afternoon, I happened to see a wild turkey standing just off the road. Stopped the truck in the middle of the road, jumped out with the MZ-S/Tamron 75-300 and started looking through the brush. She started running, then went airborne close enough to fill slightly more that half the frame. Only got one shot in though before she disappeared over the tree line. Unfortunately, it was frame 2 of a 36 exposure roll of Portra 160VC. Hopefully it will stop raining long enough for me to finish at least most of the roll over the weekend.
