I have the good delivered to a coworker's house or, if delivered by mail, held at the Post Office. My lenses have all been black and old-looking (70s-80s), but I could never hide the acquisition of a white lens. That's one reason I talked myself out of saving for a Pentax 300/4.5F or FA and got a classic-looking XR Rikenon 300/4.5 instead. I also let her know each time I sell something. That helps build my political capital.
