Mark, Been admiring your beautifully processed Hyde Park robin. I agree that the 55-300 is capable of stunningly sharp images. Am, also, constantly pleased with the lens' generosity in allowing cropping. Even though I invariably have the SR on, I do wish it were a bit heavier to further help me control my 300mm shakes when hand holding.
