I have to admit it was pretty cool out there. I was standing right at the edge 
between snow and the ice on the rocks. The ice had no traction and there was no 
way I'd put a foot on it; falling into that water would not have been good.

At least the wind was coming off the water so it was blowing me away from the 
Lake. I brought gloves (very thick mittens in my pocket) so I could manipulate 
the camera. 

It was (I imagine) like being on another planet (except with air). Very 
elemental, very cool.

But ~very~ cold!

Luckily got a few decent pix.
