I found my 80-200 performed adequately with either the AF1.7x or a 1.4 TC. I look forward to finding out how well the new TC performs with all three of my DA* zooms. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it is claimed to work with lenses with a maximum aperture of f/4; that bodes well for the 60-250.
