Joe, looks like you've been missing out on a very useful feature of your lenses. :-) If the 16-50 wasn't weather resistant, mine would be very dead by now. And my 50-135 has also been out in all kinds of wet weather, including snow and most recently freezing drizzle. That "WR" designation first showed up on the D-FA 100mm macro I believe.
