I'm glad to hear that! In the early days of the 16-50mm there were so many complaints of failed SDM motors on Pentax Forms and DPR that I gave up on that lens and bought a Tamron 17-35mm f/2.8-4 instead. On a related note, I did not appreciate Pentax's reluctance to admit the problem, which did little to improve my image of them. But that's an ailment that afflicts all Japanese camera companies and should be the subject of a different thread.
