Andre, While I am very happy with my recently bought KX, anyone who wants a KX with the option of autoexposure (aperture priority) should consider the Ricoh XP-2s. Both use a match needle readout in autoexposure mode. both show you the aperture in a window. Both are metal. Both offer mirror lockup, but not in as elegant and fully implemented a way as the KX. On the Ricoh, you can get MLU only by using the timer. Like other Ricoh XR models, in autoexposure mode the XR-2s gives you a nice exposure-lock button that holds the exposure even when you let go. However, the XR-2 uses cadmium sulfide (CdS) metering. Mark Cassino, I believe, had nice things to say about the XR-2 a few years ago.
