Spiratone samples. I don't know which formula here, but it looks different than the Plura-Coat samples I looked at, so maybe the first one. Bokeh is very interesting. I like it personally but its not bokehlicious by any means. Still, very nice dof even on a crop sensor. http://kiev.ko.slando.ua/obyavlenie/krayne-redkiy-svetosilnyy-soligor-135-mm-1-8-m42-ID6lspJ.html Soligar 135 1.8 info. 15 blades! http://www.pbase.com/pganzel/samigon_135mm_f18_on_maxxum_7d Soligar 1.8 samples. I think the bokeh on the Spiratone is much better. The soligar has hard distracting bokeh. Probably due to the simplified lens formula. So I guess spiratone had two good to superb 135 1.8s. I would like to know what took the band pictures. I really like the bokeh. I'm guessing it was not the plura-coat which I think was newer and more rare and featured a much reduced optical formula. The bokeh on the pluracoat samples I saw didn't look as dreamy. So looking some more, the Y/S mount Spiratone 135 1.8 Telephoto was made by Sun and the Plura-Coat that Mitake made was M42. The Sun lens doesn't look multicoated, but has great bokeh. Interesting. I think I want to find one of these lenses now. 135mm is a very useful focal length on aps-c IMO.
