If Pentax ever gets around to releasing a full-frame DSLR, it's going to

I disagree. If they made a full-frame camera with the same sensor as
the D600 I'd order one immediately.

I would have bought the D600 already if the auto-bracket would do more
than 3 frames ... and a couple other things even my K20D will do that the
D600 won't, like all the exposure modes.

Even though the D7100 is an APS-C camera, it's the benchmark I'd compare
any Pentax full-frame offering to, with the understanding there are some
things we ain't gonna' get from Pentax (auto-focus & 1/250 sec flash
sync) and I don't give a crap if it has "scene modes" or not.

And I don't do DSLR video, so I don't know if the D600 would be better
than the K5 (or K5 II) or not, so that's not a factor.

But I don't want to give up the flexibility that Pentax has in
auto-bracketing & exposure modes. And just comparing specs, I don't
think Pentax can afford to give up the drive modes they have that Nikon
does not.

And I still want a battery grip that allows me to store the remote &
spare SDHC card (or cards if they go to a dual card setup like the
D600/D7100)
