Our county fair had photography contest for the 1st time this year
9several hundred entries). I entered 5 prints & won one best in show
(for the vineyard photo I posted here awhile back) 2 blues and a purple
ribbon ( explained to me as second place for best in show) I will try to
post the latter tomorrow for any who might be interested. The Iowa State
fair starts this week & I have nothing entered but hope to get there to
check out the competition which I expect to be stiff. Our cash rewards
about the same as I remember. No digital entries.

Both, the file names that start with a # are digital entries.
Vying for ribbons or cash?
Both, first to 5th place ribbons and then you get a small amount of
cash for each ribbon. from $2.00 to $0.50 depending on the placement
