I don't know that there is a real problem with either the lens or the body. I'll be doing a little more testing when I have some more time but of 3 lenses and 2 bodies, all of the lenses are fine on the first body. 2 of the lenses are fine on the second body. Only the one lens needs a relatively strong correction on the second body.
Since the correction is within the range of the customization of the body it's hard to say that anything is really wrong. It sounds like the body may be within it's tolerance range in once direction and the lens is within it's tolerance range in the other direction.
