These images were taken just moments apart. The camera was not moved and the object was flipped vertically in the same position. So why the cropping? Well, best that I can figure is that, with the camera "on" since last Wed., even though asleep, the CPU required a reset. It was fixed by removing and re-inserting the battery. Still, this is the oddest thin I've seen yet with a DSLR.
