I got my *ist-Ds from Canada, it was $100 US less than I could find if
anywhere else. I figured at the price it was disposable, and it's the
only Digital camera I've had no issues with and I still use it when I
need a camera that I'm not afraid of destroying. Now I don't know for
sure if C.R.I.S considers the US and Canada as one territory, but I've
read somewhere that Pentax USA now honors international warranties. You
should probably ask them before you buy.

are there any warranty ramification to someone in the US buying a K-5II
from a canadian store? Or does CRIS consider it all one territory?

There are two kinds of computer users those who've experienced a hard drive
failure, and those that will.
