Mark, Windoze Exploder is not "color space aware"--and is now uniquely primitive among browsers in that respect. Try Safari, Firefox, or Chrome.
I know it makes a difference with my shots. Now I'm using an XRite I1 Display Pro but I see noticeable differences between the image in Photoshop, windows explorer's file display thingy, and various browsers...
