Alright, alright. Sheesh. Heh. Actually when I use lighten shadows there is very little info to recover from the trees. I do not mind them as silhouettes. I like silhouettes in lots of instances. Maybe next time I visit Yosemite I'll try a little HDR. I've thought about it before. Although, in all honesty, I think a lot of people really overdo HDR -- to the point that it looks totally unnatural.
OTOH, Yosemite does have high contrast situations (the granite bounces a lot of light). M ;-) In a message dated 12/21/2012 4:03:59 P.M.
