Geminids are particularly active - 1 meteor a minute or so. It could get
even better as we go into morning.
just saw about 5 in 15 chilly minutes radiating from straight overhead; lots of
light pollution here, and some haze from a temperature inversion, so in the
darklands you'll see plenty
