Didn't notice the down tube shifters either.  I'm so used to the modern stuff.

I've set it up today as the package arrived with the pedals.  I spent a few 
minutes riding it up and down the street - it's going to take a lot of getting 
used to.  I'm quite comfortable on the bullhorns but the handling is very 
"lively" when I'm on the aero bars.  I need to get my coach to write some long 
flat rides into my training programme.

I'll book in for a bike fitting early next week, then when my brother in law 
comes up in a couple of weeks I'll get him to swap the brakes over.  It has the 
front brake on the left which is opposite to the standard here and I'd like to 
keep my bikes consistent.
