That's great news, Frank. The WR zoom version seems to arrive just in
time for the rain/snow season :-).

In fact, this is more than a replacement; the body is in spectacular
condition and the zoom is the WR version. As I don't shy away from
shooting in soggy conditions this will be a real plus for me.
As much as I love my venerable *istD, it is nice to have the more
extensive feature set of the K10D.
I should mention that several approached me with kind offers of below
market value equipment. Thanks to each of you. This is certainly a
wonderful community!
