I don't know about "my people" and which aspect you meant by "this", but the description of a lot of my best photos starts with, "we were doing a fetish shoot, and things got silly". The helmet was the model's idea. He had seen it on my shelf and had commented on it. The feather boas were my addition. Once you put a stormtrooper helmet on someone tied up with glowing rope, for some reason, things always seem to get a little silly. It was an interesting day. In the tango community they have what are called practicas. The social dance events are called milongas, but at a practica you get together to practice, and to help each other with technique. I thought it would be fun to do a photo practica. Another photographer brought lights and gear, a few other people brought cameras, and a bunch of people showed up who wanted to model. It was a lot of fun. I also learned a lot from it, so future ones should run a lot smoother. > > On Sun, Dec 18, 2011 at 2:40 AM, Larry Colen <[email protected]> wrote: >> Things got a little silly today: >> >> http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/6529826701 >> -- Larry Colen [email protected] sent from i4est -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
