I agree. I have no experience with the Pentax ultrawide zoom for comparison, but I find the Sigma EX 10-20mm f4-5.6 (rectiliniear) to be an excellent lens. Bonus: While designed for digital, it will cover a full frame 35mm negative down to about 13mm.
