Hi all,
Took Mr. Larry's K100Ds out with the Tokina SZ-X 28-200 f/3.5-5.3 for a
couple of hours today -- and, man, do I like that combination! I
managed to finally get some butterfly images this year.

I tell you, that lens is the best $20 I've ever spent. It's not pretty,
and there's no snap whatsoever in the aperture. But, fortunately, it's
a functional A lens, and I just love the images it produces.
Any thoughts, comments and/or critiques are most welcome.
(Thanks again, Larry! I hope I don't "lose" your camera!)
A very nice gallery - hard to pick a favourite but I like the lighting
and off centred composition of this one:

Thanks, Brian!
I liked that one pretty well, too. That was probably the easiest
capture of all of them, since the butterfly tended to rest with its
wings opened up like that more than the others.
