I have the SMC Pentax (rubber grip) version of the older 300/4 (67). I keep the short extension tube in my working bag for those occasions when 5 meters isn't adequate. I'd love to have the ED version, which is reputedly sharper as well, but it's beyond the limits of my budget. Paul
