Definitely better in color, definitely not junk. I don't find the left edge of the frame (from about where the tree on the left is) as appealing as the rest, but trimming it, without trimming the top and bottom would leave a weird aspect ratio, and a lot of the interesting stuff is happening at the top and botom of the frame.
