I use the 40/2.8 as a street lens with an MX, when I have to put my camera in my pocket. I also use it in social situations where I want to be inconspicuous. I took it to a dinner at a friends house a couple of weeks ago, along with a roll of T-Max 400. (That happened to be the fastest film I had with me at the time.) I shot some very low light stuff of his wife and baby wide open at a 15th, rating the film at 1600. It looks good. I've become quite fond of that little lens. Paul
