Last weekend I was the photographer at a dance workshop. The weekend before at an aikido seminar. I found that often when I'd photograph the instructor showing the technique, I'd be aware of what he was showing, and even what he was saying. But by the time I had put the camera down and went to practice, I had forgotten entirely what we were working on.
