Hi Gang; The April edition of Shutterbug magazine has an article on the new Foveon chip. It explains a bit of the theory behind the technology. It doesn't mention anything about Sigma having an exclusive license for the chip, but does, in a separate article test 2 sigma ultra-wide zooms.
