Oh, you're talking about a NEW rumour: http://www.mirrorlessrumors.com/exclusive-samsung-goes-medium-format-canon-and-nikon-should-be-worried/
Hey, why not? If Sony tried going it big chasing the FF market, then the only way to out-do them is going for the MF market, right? Is 36x36 really medium format, though? The old Hassies were 56x56 IIRC. This is just a non-portrait orientation FF sensor. On the plus side, if the Samsung camera really is mirrorless and the registration distance is small enough, we'll be able to use legacy FF lenses on it via an adapter. The wide angles might vignette, but the longer focal lengths should be OK. I'd like to dream, cos if there's something missing in digital photography from the big camera companies it's dreams. —M. \/\/o/\/\ --> http://WorldOfMiserere.com http://EnticingTheLight.com A Quest for Photographic Enlightenment On 30 May 2011 16:45, Steven Desjardins <[email protected]> wrote: > Here's a funny rumor: > > http://www.mirrorlessrumors.com/ > -- > Steve Desjardins > > -- > PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List > [email protected] > http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net > to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow > the directions. > -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
