Thanks David.

I had already seen these converters, but for some reason (probably  something I 
read) it didn't seem as easy as plug and play. I just wanted  to know if 
someone 
had experience connecting a parallel printer to a  modern computer before 
investing on the cable and ink for the old  printer.
