Processing transparency film can be an interesting challenge, but it's
not a viable solution for most photographers. The process is fairly
involved, and it requires accurate temperature control. It's very
difficult to maintain the correct temperatures using normal, home water
faucets. And since E-6 (ektachrome type) processing is quite
inexpensive, self processing is not a good choice for most.
