Anyone here have experience with the Sigma 150-500/5.0-6.3? At 500mm, how would

A friend of mine has this. Will try to remember to put up some pictures of his
later tonight, if I still have them.
Thanks Mike. In addition to IQ, I am puzzled by the communication, if any,
between the Pentax and Sigma AF systems. From the little I have found, it is
not clear which one is active, if either.

I read a review, (I didn't save the link as it wasn't germane to
Pentax), of the system being used on a SONY. There doesn't seem to be
any. If you use the sigma IS you turn off the -SONY SSS- Pentax IS and
the lens leaches power through the Power Contacts. The lens has it's
own built in motion sensors and processor. From all accounts it's
pretty good. You control the lens IS from a switch on the lens. I
expect that Pentax turns off power to the contacts when the camera is
turned off so there should be no power drain at that point.
