If I gain weight back I just lost it will be ALL YOUR FAULT...
Just because of your photo and to stories about these goodies I went
here and
bougth one.
http://www.tuckshopnyc.com/downtown.php
the first location mentioned is one block up and one block over from me....
I don't know who big these are supposed to be but I sure couldnt eat the
whole thing...
which ,I suppose, is an indication that I have my diet pretty well under
control.
I think I'll stash the rest of it in the fridge.
I think I should volunteer my photographic talents the six pictures
showing the foodies
are lacking a certain um focus for one thing.
anyway,
all I can say is YUM!

With a name like Lamington, you'd think they'd be made out of lamb.
Well - there is a link.
There seems to be an emerging tradition here to eat lamb on Australia
Day (helped along by some fairly effective advertising by the lamb
producers, it has to be said). So having a lamb-ington or two on Oz Day
fits in with the tradition.

The Lamington is an Australian icon so it just wouldn't be Australia Day
without a few.
Here's a plateful of small ones. Delicious!

Not the sharpest photo I've ever taken but I had had several glasses of
red beforehand.
