I didn't have the king manual with me at the time, or the queen manual, or any other manual. In any case, about the only thing I find less effective than Pentax QC is their ability to write useful manuals. I've read three of their manuals (K100, K20 & K-x) cover to cover, a couple of them multiple times. 98% of the material in them might be useful to someone who barely knows which end of the camera to point at the subject, and nearly useless to anyone else. I've tried looking up several things pertaining to the K-r in the manual it about as useful as Bob Sullivan's diet plan. In any case, the pop up flash seems to be working now. Back on the covered bridge today, I tried taking a picture with the camera in green mode, the flash popped up but didn't fire, I switched it to M mode and it fired. The problem was quite likely driver error, with a remote chance of it being a contact that wasn't initially closing a circuit, but which is now working. -- Larry Colen [email protected] sent from i4est -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
