Sounds like you got a nice clean copy.

PJ, the lens is clear and bright. The shutter is great, no stickiness
and speeds seem to be on.
The kit as given me has the sync cord adapter and does sync with a
283. I also have the Vivitar grip adapter with shutter release.
The ground glass is intact, along with the flip up magnifier. I
checked the focus and it snaps in great WO The rangefinder does not
work perfectly with the cut film back, but I am told it can be
adjusted. Instructions haven't been read yet.
I was given two rolls of Portra 160 that has been respooled to 620
rolls. They are available at B&H I understand. They also sell the 2.25
x 3.25 cut film that is supposed to be the same as Adox B&W. I would
really relish being able to shoot some B&W on cut film if I could
easily and readily get it developed and scanned at a reasonable price.

More to come after I shoot some.

The shutter and coupled rangefinder will probably be stiff from old
lubrication A CLA will probably run you a couple hundred dollars. The film
will be hard to find, except that it's 120 on different size spools, learn
to re-spool and save yourself a ton of money. The lens is bitingly sharp.
Read the manual carefully. Things not explained properly in the manual.
Really one thing, is that the shutter defaults to X flash sync as long as
you don't cock the flash retarding lever, otherwise if you do it will be
either f or m sync depending on the slider on the front of the shutters
position.

I envy you having the sheet film adapter, it sells for about as much as the
rest of the camera if you can find one with the ground glass intact. By the
way don't lose the front cap, no one seems to have a suitable replacement.

You can search e-bay for a guy who sells all manner of Stereo (3D) 35mm
gear, I can't remember his name, but one of the things he carries is an ASA
to PC flash adapter, at the most reasonable price I found. This will be
essential if you didn't get the ASA to PC nipple that is often part of
Medalist II kits.

Have fun. If you have any questions let me know I might have an answer.

A friend who is also a retired Navy Photographer like I am gave me a

Wonder how it will work?
