I didn't manage to get out to a party, but I did at least usher
in the new Gregorian year doing something favourable for setting
the tone for the year to come:  makin' pictures.

(OT1H, I really do want/need a steadier tripod than what I've been
using.  OTOH, most of the motion in the second fireworks shot is
my own fault anyhow, for pressing the shutter button myself instead
of using the self-timer.)

Nothing really great, but at least I started the year with photos.
