I used the Li-ion that came with it; it seems that the touted AA
battery holder has to be purchased as a separate accessory.

As an after thought, maybe I should have shot both the K-r & K-x in
the same setting throughout the event I was covering then I could
definitely answer that question.  All I can say is that it *feels*
that way--is not that I would not trust the K-x to produce a similar
output.

I'll post some big versions shortly; I was in a hurry to meet the
deadline for the client so they were cookie cutter cropped in a hurry.
