I have just ordered 10 roll og slidefilm for my "new" 67.
I've read that Fuji Astia is specially good for skin tones.
Will it do well for landscapes as well?
I will scan all my 6x7 images.
Maybe color negs were the better choise.
Which colour film would you use for
1) Portraits
2) Landscape
Astia should be GREAT!! for landscapes.
For portraiture, consider the Kodak Portra family of films of color
negative films.
I also really like their BW400CN (B&W C-41 process film).
I have a half a freezer and refrigerator full of 35mm Velvia 50, Astia
100, and Provia 100 & 400 I inherited from a friend who dumped all his
film equipment when he went digital.
Fool! He ain't gettin' any of it back when finally comes to his senses!
I guess what I have is the older formulation. I think Fuji discontinued
Velvia once and then brought it back in a new version.
I also have a couple of boxes of 4x5 Portra 400NC & Ektachrome 100G I
picked up from Wolf camera at ridiculously low prices when they were
going out of business.
Looking through my fridge just now, I found one lone roll of Kodachrome
25. What's the deadline for getting it in?
I'm finally going on that long delayed school trip to China in December
(back in the USA on the Dec 22). Think I'll pack my K1000 along and burn
up some of the film I've been hoarding.
