There's no rule that says if you make it to the grave you're home free. Other folks should check the validity of the story, of course. But if it's essentially true it should be told. If this man wanted to tell his side of the story then he shouldn't have gone to the grave in silence. These stories all serve as lessons, important lessons, to all who want to idealize the world. This is precisely why we should and do limit the power of those in government.
