I don't disagree with you if the photographer is aware of an obvious and specific problem. Why have two or three people point that out instead of commenting on the other aspects of the image? In this case, however, and in two or three other recent posts, there was no obvious (or even hidden) flaw; Charles was just being overly modest. I think that can have an effect on what we expect to see, and may unjustly color what others think and say about the image. I think a poster will get better and more unbiased comments without a generalized statement about possible flaws in the photo. Remember, one man's flaw is another man's enhancement.
