2010/6/30 Mark Roberts <[email protected]>: > FINALLY - a month after the event - I got around to uploading photos > from the 2010 Nature Photography Weekend at Grandfather Mouintain:
Going through them one by one unidentified flower - reminds me of Toine's Lensbaby shots, very nice balance and creaminess yellow violet - gotta totally agree with Stan here, ot1h choosing a non-traditional angle is good otoh this one separates too much newt - either there is a joke i am missing or the photo is about the newt that has an amazing color, surroundings rather bland junco - brilliant. that tilted head does it all for the image. the photo really makes the caption come alive in my mind wake robin - interesting subject and the image grows on me after a while, somehow took me a moment longer to appreciate jack in the pulpit - nice repetition of in and out of focus elements between center and upper right dusk view - great silhouette but the images that come after it have me spoiled regarding the sky... =) sunrise on awp - much the same as dusk view but far better... the sky is gorgeous albeit less dramatic clouds over c...@sunrise - outstanding - positively poster material early morning on awp - small step back from previous but still gorgeous... more serene again 6 am sun's up - again outstanding and would sell many posters clinton's lily - other than my notion that her name was Monica, sweet, not as lensbabyish and very nice 'colorscape' and bg home for the night - I hated you enough already... swinging bridge 1&2 - both again definite poster material shanty branch 1 - very pretty and I guess that smoky water effect just looks best on most waterfalls... mushroom - tres cool with the bits of spider web clinging, good geometry shanty branch 2 - much nicer than 1 imo, benefits much from the foreground early morning 1&2 - the layer effect is well executed, might look great desaturated and perhaps b/w gray's lily 1&1 - both very pretty, 1 more placative, 2 has a very nice juxtaposition all in all I HATE YOU... and you WELL DESERVE IT =) thanks for sharing ecke -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
