I'm sure the first point will be addressed.  The new iPhone has a noticeably
better screen than the previous model, and I'm sure that screen will show up
in a new iPod before too long.

It's a game of leapfrog.  The Motorola Droid had a high-resolution display
when it was released (480 x 854), making the old iPhone (320 x 480) seem a
little behind the curve. The new iPhone is 640 x 960.  I'm sure it won't be
too long before we see HDTV resolution (720 x 1280, and even 1080 x 1920)
in a hand-held device.
