Thanks, Chris. I was disappointed too. I expected a combination of hyper-kitsch and LA glamour (whatever that is), but I didn't get very much of either. Still we had fun. We've got a thunderstorm starting here and it's loud and noisy. Supposed to get two inches of rain per hour and hurricane level winds. Apparently, Iowa got hit really bad. Any PDMLers from Iowa? Hope the electricity holds up. Actually, this is the second time I've written this post. I had just finished typing "hope the electricity holds up" and I had a 5 second electrical blip. The computer shut down and rebooted and, of course, the lights went off then on again. Amazing timing there. Couldn't believe it. Cheers, Christine

I'd never been to Hollywood, so it was kind of fun to see. There are
captions. The first picture was taken at Old San Diego, but the rest
are
from Hollywood Boulevard. The friend we went to visit is in town, so
we're
off to meet him for dinner.

If the gallery didn't make you giggle even just a wee bit, just let me
know,
and I'll see what I can do. :-)
Cheers, Christine

Fun gallery, thanks Christine. I was expecting the street of stars to be
much glitzier than that. It looks just like a city sidewalk with a few
additions. Another myth destroyed...
