It does feel pretty good, and has quite the nice finder. I really like
the basic ergonomics. I think I may have found a Pentax film body that
works for me after a lot of trying..

I've had three MZ-series bodies (M, 3 and 5n) and never liked them
much. Don't like the ergonomics and the finders suck. I'm also pretty
sure the official spec on the finder (92%, 0.8x) is wrong, the finders
are quite noticably smaller than the Z-1p or the similar-spec Maxxum 7
so I suspect Pentax made an oopsie somewhere and those specs should
read 0.7x magnification like the lower-end MZ/ZX bodies. Anyone want
an MZ-3 with Date Back F and Battery Pack Fg?

For the older MF bodies, I mostly liked the LX and would be Ok with
one as backup as long as I had the grip, they're a bit too small
otherwise. The K2's OK (Nice layout and finder, but very unrefined
with a mediocre release and non-smooth wind-on, I've been spoiled by
my FM/FE/FA series bodies from Nikon). I'm not a fan of the M-series
bodies (No, I don't even like the MX after owning one for a while).
