I'm not sure what kind of ducks they are, but they're quite pretty.  I
missed the focus (manual focus lens) and I didn't have my monopod with
me, but I think it's kind of funny that they look like they're talking
about the big goose swimming away.

They chattered for a few seconds then one dove and then the other.  It
was kind of cool.

Not the greatest of photos to be sure, but I've never shot any duck
other than a mallard before.

Nice shot. The two grebes were discussing the fact that they were always
being referred to as 'ducks' by trashy town folk who strayed onto the
waterfront ;-)

This time I looked at the responses _first_ Frank, Cotty has corectly Id'ed them birdies...

cute shot, even if soft, etc...

Dont feel bad about calling them ducks (well, I'm sure you don't anyway) about 30 years ago I got a nice grebe shot out in California and at the time incorrectly id'ed him as (gasp) a cormorant! oh, the shame!
